The installation kit is necessary for the system to function. Do not select the "Without Installation Kit" option from the dropdown unless you are providing one yourself. The installation kit is: copper refrigeration lines, communication wire between indoor and outdoor unit, 10 ft drain hose, wall cap, sleeve, and putty.

Refrigerant Leakage Detect
Indoor unit shows error code "EC" and stops automatically when refrigerant leakage is detected. This protects the compressor from high temperature damage due to refrigerant leakage.
Anti-cold Air Function
Indoor fan speed is regulated automatically from the lowest grade to the setting grade according to evaporator temperature when the unit just starts heating operation. This function can prevent cold air blowing out to avoid discomfort to the users.
Low Ambient Cooling
With built-in low ambient kit or special designed PCB, outdoor fan speeds can be changed automatically according to condensation temperature. The air conditioner can run cooling operation even when the outdoor ambient temperature is down to -15°C.
Temperature sensor built in the remote controller will sense it’s surrounding temperature. The unit will adjust the room temperature more accurately to give you comfort.
Compared with infrared remote controller, wired controller can be fixed on the wall and makes air conditioner control more convenient.

I know this comes with a wall-mount kit for the indoor unit, but does it come with a wall mount kit for the outdoor unit?
this unit use regular 120 v. or 220v?
This particular system uses 208/230V and not 110/120V. The 110/120V version is located here.
Does wall unit come with mounting brackets?
Yes the indoor wall handler comes with the mounting bracket pre-attached on the back.
Can this system be thermostat controlled to cycle on and off
It can be programmed to come off once set temperature is hit like an on/off unit would, though this would decrease efficiency.
Is a there a filter on this unit that needs to be changed from time to time? Thanks!The units come with 2 wash-able filters.There's also some supplementary ones that need replacing every year.
Does the blower cycle on and off as needed when the unit is on?
This is not an on/off system, it is an inverter so it stays on but adjusts down fan speed to fight the heat loss and maintain the set temperature. This makes it much more energy efficient than turning on and off all the time. You are able to program the unit to turn off when set temperature is reached, if desired.
Can more than one mini split be run from the same condenser?
This would require a multi-zone solution: multi-zone
Does this heating / cooling system require access to natural gas lines, or can it be run on electric only?
This is a heat pump that uses refrigerant and runs on electricity, it cannot and does not require gas.
It says 45deree heating standard feature what does that mean what is the temp when heat pump stops?
This is referring to freeze-protection (FP) mode. It is a "vacation mode" meant to protect the lines from freezing by maintaining a 46°F heating output. This particular system will heat and cool down to +5°F outside temperatures.

do you need a pro to make the connections and draw a vacuum?
It is not required but recommended to have a tech come to pull a vacuum, check pressures, and release the pre-charged refrigerant. It can also be DIY with the use of special tools such as vacuuum pump and pressure gauges.
Does the mini split model WYS012GMFI19RL-16 come with a pad, cooper line set and communication cable?
The "-16" at the end indicates that it will come with a 16 ft. copper lineset and 16 ft. communication cable. This can be modified on the dropdown menu, above the "add to cart" button. It would not come with a pad.
Where will i need to supply electricity for the system to work, inside or outside or both?
The outdoor unit for this particular system requires a 15A double-pole breaker. The indoor unit will draw power from the outdoor unit via the communication cable included within the installation kit.

How many square feet will this unit cool and heat
We recommend this unit to be used for rooms between 200 and 450 square feet.
What type of wire used to connect the mini split
For power to a 230V outdoor unit it would need 2 hots and a ground, THHN type.
For the gauge it would either be 14 or 12 AWG depending on your local electrical codes for 15 amps (the 2-pole breaker size needed for this unit).
What temperature does the heat pump work in? If it is 20 degrees outside, will the heat pump still work?
This particular system will heat and cool down to +5°F outside temperatures.

The minimum we recommend is 5 feet.
CAN THE INDOOR UNIT BE SEMI RECESSED
We do not recommend anything more than 1 inch as this can interfere with return air input.
