Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • How many watts does this unit use

On average: 2.85kW in cooling and 3.11 kW in heating. More info here: https://www.pdhvac.com/site/downloads/WYS-19-2019.pdf

  • Will this unit work with 20 Amp breakers and 12 Gage wires?

Yes it will. The 20A must be double-pole type.

  • How many square will this cool and heat?

For typical instances we recommend this to be used in spaces up to 1,100 square feet.

  • I live in Utah where it gets cold and I want to be able to both heat and cool my shop. When the temp drop below 30 degrees will this unit still heat?

This system will continue to heat down to 5°F temperatures.

  • If I get a longer tubing kit will their be enough coolant in the unit to do a dyi

You can get it with up to 25 ft before needing to add additional refrigerant to accomodate the longer lineset length.

  • How many inside units can be hooked to this, I am looking for just one at the moment but may install another inside unit in the future.

This is a 1-to-1 single-zone system. For multiple air handlers on a single outside condenser, you would need to explore multi-zone options that fit into our matching table.
