Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Is there a minimum line length from head to compressor for 12 k YH012GHF125rph

The minimum we recommend is 10 ft. That is the shortest that is supported by the precharged amount.

The shortest possible is 5 ft but you'd need to remove an ounce of refrigerant to account for that.

  • hyper heat manual says 12" from outside wall to unit. Just want to double check this is accurate. I have 2 other brands neither call for anything close to that much. You also sell the support brackets which hang on wall and I have never seen one which is capable of holding the back of the unit 12" off the wall.

This is accurate, the purpose is to prevent build-up of debris (such as leaves) between the unit and the wall, and provide optimal airflow. When mounted on the wall, the clearance drops to 4" since there is less risk of obstruction over time behind the unit, and a new dimension of airflow is opened by raising the system off the ground.
