Yes it is built with the pan heater tech to allow for defrosting in freezing temperatures.

What is the lowest temperature setting available for heat on this unit. Thinking for a garage 1500 sq foot
Our units have a temp setting range of 61 - 86°F.They also a have a special "Freeze Protection"/Vacation Mode fixed setting of 46°F which is used to keep pipes from freezing.
