Summary

The Pioneer® ECOasis Ducted 100 brings balanced, filtered fresh air to your home from a compact unit hidden above the ceiling. It continuously exhausts stale indoor air while supplying fresh outdoor air, and its total heat (enthalpy) exchanger transfers both heat and moisture between the two airstreams, so you get fresh air without throwing away the energy you paid to heat, cool, or dehumidify. Rated at 89 CFM, it pairs independent 10-speed DC supply and exhaust fans with an automatic bypass for free cooling and a programmable weekly schedule.

Key Features

  • Total heat (enthalpy) recovery: A high-efficiency paper-core exchanger recovers temperature and moisture from exhaust air, with sensible recovery efficiency up to 81.4% at 32°F.
  • 100% automatic bypass: When outdoor temperatures fall within your set comfort range, the unit bypasses the core to deliver outdoor air directly for free cooling.
  • Independent 10-speed DC fans: Supply and exhaust speeds adjust separately, so the system can be balanced or set for slight positive or negative pressure.
  • Four operating modes: Heat exchange, bypass, automatic (four time periods per day, programmable Monday through Sunday), and sleep, plus a timed on/off function.
  • Cold-weather protection: Automatic anti-frost and low-temperature operating cycles protect the core in winter.
  • Boost on demand: A dedicated input lets a bathroom or kitchen switch run both fans at maximum speed.
  • CO2- and humidity-ready: Add the optional CO2 or humidity sensor to enable automatic CO2 boost and forced dehumidification modes.
  • Wi-Fi ready: Connect the optional Wi-Fi module to control and monitor the unit from your phone with the Smart Life app.
  • Wired LCD wall controller: Displays mode, fan speed, schedule and fault codes, plus outdoor, supply and return air temperature.
  • Building-system ready: RS485 communication, fire alarm input, and run/error signal outputs.
  • Quiet, durable construction: Galvanized steel shell with an integrated EPS foam structure and internal insulation.
  • Easy maintenance: Washable primary filters and the heat exchanger slide out through a side access door.
  • CSA certified: Certified for the US and Canada to UL 1812 and CSA C22.2 No. 113.

Pioneer® Energy Recovery Ventilators

Fresh air without the energy penalty

Modern homes are built tight to save energy, but that also traps stale air, humidity, odors and CO2 inside. An energy recovery ventilator (ERV) fixes that by continuously exhausting stale indoor air and bringing in filtered fresh outdoor air. As the two airstreams pass each other inside the unit’s heat exchanger, the ERV transfers heat and moisture between them. In winter, the incoming air is pre-warmed by the air going out. In summer, it’s pre-cooled and partially dehumidified. You get steady fresh air while your heating and cooling system works far less than it would with an open window.

Ductless or ducted: which ERV is right for you?

ECOasis Ductless (single-room). These mount through an exterior wall with no ductwork. They’re ideal for a bedroom, home office, basement, apartment, or any room that feels stuffy, and they’re the easiest way to add fresh air to an existing home. Built-in Wi-Fi and smart sensors adjust ventilation automatically.

ECOasis Ducted (whole-home). These hide in a ceiling cavity and connect to ductwork, supplying fresh air and exhausting stale air throughout the house or across multiple rooms. They’re the right choice for new construction, renovations, or homes with existing duct runs. Four sizes cover 89 to 294 CFM, with independent supply and exhaust fan control, automatic bypass for free cooling, and CO2- and Wi-Fi-ready controls.

Choosing a size. Ventilation needs depend on your home’s square footage and number of bedrooms. A single room typically needs one ductless unit. For whole-home ventilation, your HVAC contractor can size a ducted unit using the ASHRAE 62.2 standard, or contact our team for help.

All Pioneer ERVs are backed by free lifetime technical support from our US-based team.
