Will this work for the Pioneer WYS series?
Yes it would be compatible.

Can multiple units be used on this 1 device..
They would need to be in the same room and within line of sight of the Cielo device. It will send the same signal to all units and act as "twin mode". If you need independent control of multiple units you would need multiple of the Cielo controllers.

Do I also need to buy the WiFi module for the indoor unit to use this?
You would not need anything else besides this.

I see it controls the AC, will it also control the heat?
Yes, this will provide you with full control of the system.
